Depending on your wall space, budget and photographs.
I offer the following sizes:
A3 | 297 x 420 mm | 11.7 x 16.5 Inch
A2 | 420 x 594 mm | 16.5 x 23.3 Inch
A1 | 594 x 884 mm | 23.3 x 33.1 Inch.
A0 | 884 x 1189 mm | 33.1 x 46.8 Inch
If you wish to have a different size than what is stated, note that in your submission form.
2. Reference photo
To create your drawing, you have to choose a reference photo. It is important to be able to determine which photo will allow for the best possible reference material, the clearer the photo, the better the portrait. That way I am able to achieve the desired final result. I draw portraits, preferably a head and shoulder portraits.
Once you have submitted your commission form, I will contact you to discuss further details. If you are unsure of what photo to choose, I can help you in making the right decision for best results.
3. Contract & payment
To start a commission, a deposit and a formal agreement are needed.
After you've picked the size of the portrait and the reference photo you like, you can send in your commission using the form provided. Then, we'll talk more about the details of your drawing. When you're satisfied with the plan and ready to order, you'll get the agreement and bill. You can make a secure payment using methods like Card, bank transfer, PayPal and ApplePay.
4. Time of creation
Once your deposit is received successfully, I will begin the process of creating your drawing. It's crucial to allocate sufficient time for the artwork's creation. Depending on your chosen size and photo, I'll let you know how long it will take (at least 30 days).
Throughout this process, you will receive regular updates on your drawing. This allows you to witness the gradual formation of your artwork until it's finished. I will share final result photos with you. Once you give your approval, I will then initiate the shipping preparations.
The most exciting part! Your drawing has been approved by you and will now be prepared for shipment. I ship with DHL Express, worldwide. Estimated delivery time is
1-3 days: Europe
2-7 days: worldwide
Large Artwork (A1+) are shipped rolled in a tube. Small artworks are shipped flat. All packages are well protected and insured for a guaranteed safe arrival of your artwork. Your portrait will arrive with a thank you note, certificate of authenticity and aftercare information.
Your package is sent securely, tracked and will require a signature upon arrival. I am not responsible for expenses or delays that may occur depending on the regulations in your country.
